Joining the Society
For historical reasons the Peony Society is based in the United Kingdom, but membership is open to anyone, regardless of where they live. For practical reasons the society's Annual General Meeting is likely to be held in the UK for the foreseeable future, but members in other parts of the world can help by sending articles for the newsletter or the website. Changes in the Constitution mean that voting can be done by proxy, hence allowing non-UK members to take a full part in the running of the society.
If you would like to become a member of the Peony Society please either contact the Membership Secretary, including your telephone number and address, or go to the bottom of this page and purchase a subscription. Membership currently costs £15.00 per annum, which includes the society's quarterly bulletin, The Peony.
Note that you do not need a PayPal account to pay via PayPal.
In joining you are agreeing to be bound by the rules of the Society.
If you are a member of the Peony Society and would like to swap peonies with other members please send an email to any member of the committee or to the membership mailing list.
Because of the problems of privacy and misuse of the internet we have decided not to include officers' telephone numbers or addresses on the website.
The Society is managed by an elected committee, which meets every two months.
